ÖÖD Hotel's Mirror Cabins

ÖÖD Hotel's new mirror cabins were inaugurated on 1 December 2023 in Pyhtää, Finland. The company's staff, representatives from the municipality of Pyhtää, and traditional media were present. My task was to observe and photograph.

The company was founded in 2018 by two brothers, Jaak and Andreas Tiik. Their small mirror cabins were built in Estonia and transported to various destinations. The idea is that the cabins should be an integrated part of nature and the surroundings. They want the guests to experience luxury and, at the same time, be embraced by wild nature.

Did I get the experience of this? No, because the forest has been felled for a better sea view. The undergrowth has also been damaged by heavy machinery in the area. But on the other hand, the situation will change after ten years if they allow nature to recover.

The feeling inside the mirror cabins is luxurious and fantastic. A wonderful view opens up to the sea. You don't have to get out of bed to enjoy the view. I recommend that those who wish to experience a moment of luxury but do not want to be cottage owners use ÖÖD Hotels' services.
